Preparation of an Environmental Statement Chapter to support a £180 million redevelopment of a brownfield site in the setting of Royal Botanic Gardens Kew World Heritage Site, Gunnersbury Park Grade II* Registered Park and Garden and other highly designated heritage assets.

 

Working in a previous role, Joanna Burton provided lead heritage consultancy services to a residential-led scheme proposing up to 16 storeys in the setting of heritage assets of international and national significance, including the World Heritage Site at Kew. Joanna prepared the cultural heritage input to the Heritage, Townscape and Visual Impact ES Chapter together with a Heritage Statement, providing environmental impact assessment together with an assessment against the local and national planning policy requirements. Joanna was also part of the team negotiating with local and national stakeholders and consultees, supporting meetings with London Borough of Hounslow officers, Historic England and the public exhibition.
