Expert heritage witness at a public inquiry appearing on behalf of the appellant appealing the non-determination of an application to convert the grade II listed former factory known as ‘Powerhub’.

 

In a previous role, Joanna provided expert heritage evidence to the Planning Inspectorate to appeal the non-determination of this application which raised issues relating to heritage impact, viability and optimal viable use. The Inspector agreed with the Appellant that the proposal was the only and therefore optimum viable use and consent was granted, providing a new use for this large, vacant former factory building.
